Site Rules

  • Drugs, solvents & alcohol-free: strict no-tolerance policy across the entire site.
  • Wristbands must be worn at all times and will be checked regularly. Replacements available at the Café for a small fee.
  • After midnight, young people must be in an organised activity or in their own tent.
  • 2am–6am: no Unite volunteers on duty. Group leaders are responsible for their young people. Emergencies: 07977 651941.
  • Stay within the marked event area at all times.
  • No entering other villages without an invite from a leader.
  • Look after each other — tell a leader if anything's wrong.

Noise

Loud music is not permitted anywhere on site. Keep noise to a minimum late at night, especially in the camping areas, and avoid unnecessary noise before 7:30am.

Smoking & Vaping

Strict no smoking/vaping in all buildings, venues and outdoor areas — except the designated smoking/vaping area next to the main car park.

Mobile Phones

Must be switched off or on silent when inside any venue on site.

Water, Showers & Toilets

  • Water bottle filling: main station on the hard standing at the front of the camping field, plus a station outside The Diner.
  • Showers (free, all ages) — shower block near the camping field.
  • Over-18 toilets: block near the main car park, plus Portaloos on the hard standing.
  • Under-18 toilets: block near the camping field.
  • Toilets also available in the Café and the Diner.

Vehicles & Parking

Limited parking on site for minibuses and cars. Most parking is "for event duration" — you may not be able to move your vehicle mid-event. Arriving by coach or minibus? Email unite@boys-brigade.org.uk in advance. The Boys' Brigade is not responsible for cars or their contents.

Fire & Emergencies

  • Fire assembly point: camping field near The Hub.
  • No unauthorised use of the fire pit at any time.
  • In an emergency, leave the venue calmly and walk to the assembly point. Marshals will check groups in. Leaders are responsible for the children and young people in their care.

Lost Property

Any lost property should be handed in at the Café. Unite and The Boys' Brigade cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to property or vehicles.
